Blackwing Volume 292 - Keith Haring "Radiant Heart" Point Guard
The Blackwing 292 pays tribute to Keith Haring, one of the most renowned young artists of the 1980s. Inspired by the graffiti artists whose marks covered the city’s subway cars, Haring began to draw in white chalk over the black paper used to cover vacant advertising panels.
By 1980, Haring was exhibiting globally while continuing public projects, creating murals, sculptures, and paintings to support hospitals, children’s groups, and community health organizations. His Pop Shop at 292 Lafayette Street served as an open space for everyone to experience his art and message beyond galleries.
This special red Point Guard is engraved with Haring’s iconic radiant heart illustration.
