Faber-Castell - TK-Fine Vario Mechanical Pencil - 1.0mm is a great pencil for both drawing and writing. It features a special mechanism to switch the pencil between soft and hard. When in the soft position, the lead is cushioned for comfortable writing. When in the hard position, the lead is held firmly for precise drawing. The pencil has a gentle straight knurled grip and a lead indicator on the tip.
