Together with Shadow Mica, the newest colorations provide you some sleek and elegant options to the Procyon series. This fountain pen comes with an aluminum barrel and cap, giving it a smooth and matte finish. It is a nicely sized pen with a length of 5.5 in (14 cm) and a widened diameter around the center of the pen making it comfortable to hold while writing. The screw cap uses Platinum's patented "Slip and Seal" mechanism, which creates an air tight seal around the nib and prevents the ink from drying out for up to a year. The Procyon comes with a special newly designed feed that only requires you to submerge the nib halfway into an ink bottle in order to draw ink up. This special design allows you to easily draw ink up from a bottle even when it is almost empty.
